Awesome job, Eowyn! :) This was really interesting! Sarah sounds like a lovely person:) I found it interesting to think about her metaphor that no one can look directly at God, but we're all looking at a reflection in a lake from different angles; however, different angles may have a better view than others (which is what it seems like the different colors of witches may have)! And that makes Christ all the more beautiful, because it's all about God coming to us in a form we *can* look directly at, no longer as a reflection disturbed by trees and waves and cloud. <3
I would love to ask Sarah about magic, spells, and witches in fiction--Hollywood and even books--whether she thinks that has a positive or negative impact on her community of Wicca practitioners and pagans in general. Or does that contribute more to having "Sunday-morning-only Christian"-type believers in her way of life?
Also, of course I'm curious, what parts of the story of Jesus does she believe? Who does she think he is?
I may leave some comments as I listen 😂😂 but that’s really crazy about the clothing on the Eve of Yule because getting pjs on Xmas eve is a very big tradition. And the fact that she can say so matter of factly, when Europe was being christianized, they made the existing holidays “Christian”. Ah! Why can’t everyone else admit that? 😂
Oh and also the rebrand is adorable!
I’m glad you like it!!!!
This is such an interesting and valuable thing to do! And it takes a lot of courage and humility, too, I bet. Good job! :D
Thank you so much, Annabeth! And thank you for watching 😊
