not to be rude (i freakin love this book tho heh) but all your critical thoughts of the book are not really objectively negative things about it... it's kinda just your personal preferences, which is fine of course, but, for example, if it has a lot of connections and you don't like that, it's not the book's fault necessarily. loved hearing ur thoughts tho and thanks for the mention :)
I’m glad to see someone who is a die hard HG fan say these things. I haven’t quite finished yet (I’m well over half way) but I agree with you whole heartedly. I’m not a huge Hunger games fan, but this is her weakest book by far in my opinion.
The parallels were way too much and I agree, Haymitch really doesn’t have a voice. It’s like he’s a faceless vessel for the story to take place through.
But alas I must finish the book before speaking too much about it.
